We are giving you the world on a plate – Culinary Tours from Let’s Eat The World
Since 2016, when I led our very first week-long tour, the original Week in Uzès, through the markets and kitchens of Uzès, France, Let’s Eat The World has grown into culinary journeys across three continents. Every tour is still built the way that first one was: small groups, hands in the dough, and food as the way into a place’s culture and people.
Why Our Culinary Tours Stand Out
Our small-group tours are designed for people who travel to connect. You’ll share meals and stories, cook alongside local chefs, and leave with a deeper appreciation of food and culture. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, and friends seeking something richer than sightseeing.

Why We Stand Out
Our tours are capped at just 8 participants, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience. You’ll never feel like a face in the crowd, just part of a small, curious group of fellow food and culture lovers.
Each tour includes at least three cooking experiences arranged with our trusted local partners. While some trips go deeper into hands-on cooking than others, every culinary moment is a gateway to cultural exchange, where food becomes a language, not just a skill. Technique has its place, especially in destinations like France, Italy, or Spain. Still, what we value most is the transmission of tradition, memory, and identity through the meals we prepare and share.
Each itinerary includes meaningful exchanges with artisans, farmers, winemakers, and everyday people. These are the moments that bring culture to life and deepen your connection to the place.
We want this to be a rich experience, but not one from which you need a vacation. We balance cooking, tasting, and downtime, giving you space to explore, rest, and truly enjoy. There’s no rushing from site to site, just time to savor the moment.
Whether you’re dining at a chef’s table or sharing a meal in a village home, every dish is rooted in place. We prioritize seasonal, local food that tells a story.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our culinary holidays are capped at a maximum of 8 guests. That’s a hard limit, not a target, so you’re genuinely cooking alongside the chef rather than watching from the back of a crowd. Exact group sizes are confirmed on each tour’s page.
The local chef shapes the week: which dishes you cook, where you shop for ingredients, and how each day builds toward the next. It’s not a single recipe demo, it’s the chef’s own knowledge of the place setting the pace. The number of hands-on cooking sessions varies by destination, with the full breakdown listed on each tour’s page.
A deposit secures your spot, with the balance due before departure. For our multi-day culinary holidays, that’s a 30% deposit and the remaining balance due 45 days before the tour starts. Deposits are non-refundable due to the upfront costs of organizing each program, though a 0% interest payment plan is available.
Workshops, private food tours, and other shorter experiences require full payment at the time of booking, each with their own cancellation and postponement terms. Full terms are confirmed at booking.
Most tours include your home base accommodation, the majority of meals, hands-on cooking sessions, and guided cultural excursions. Flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses are never included, and what’s included beyond that can vary by destination. Each tour page lists its specific inclusions and exclusions in full.
If a tour is sold out or its next dates aren’t confirmed yet, joining the waitlist adds you to our list for that destination. As soon as new dates are confirmed or a spot opens up, we reach out directly so you’re among the first to know.
