Le Pont du Gard – The official website of Pont du Gard. The Pont du Gard, one of the best-preserved vestiges of Roman architecture is a UNESCO heritage site located in Remoulin. Throughout the year they offer various cultural events and also have a museum and a walking trail through the Mediterranean landspace referred to as le Garrigue.

Le Musée 1900 – Before or after your French cooking class, you must take a tour through the Musée 1900. Owner Gaston Baron has amassed an amazing collection of artifacts from the 1900s. A wonderful trip in time.
Haribo – Le Musée Bonbon – For the kids and kids at heart. If it’s sugar you want, sugar you will find at the Haribo factory and museum located in Uzès. See how the candies are made and learn the history of their candy-making.
La Bambouseraie – Get out of the Summer heat and enjoy this beautiful botanical garden in the Cévennes. Worth a visit for any lover of fauna and flora and a lovely treat for the kids especially if you take the train à vapeur
Train à Vapeur des Cévennes – This little steam train is a great way to travel through the foothills of the Cévennes between the villages of Anduze, the Bambouseraie & Saint-Jean-du-Gard. (page in French). You can also find information in English on the Anduze Tourism site

La Fabrique Givrée – In the mood for ice cream well you will want to pop into this ice cream shop for a scoop or two with original flavors like toast-flavored ice cream. Located directly on the Place aux Herbes

Domaine Deleuze et Rochetin – Organic winemakers offering wine tasting. Located in Arpaillargues across from our school. We have chosen them to be one of our purveyors of wines for our classes. Read our interview here.

Domaine de Malaïgues – One of the best organic vineyards in the area. François Reboul is as passionate about the soil in which his vines grow as he is about the wine itself. Wine is just one of the things that the domain produces. A visit to his domain has been included in some of our French culinary holidays.
