The tour price includes 9-night accommodations, 9 breakfasts, 6 lunches, and 6 dinners, including a memorable final dining experience. Also included are private transfers, three hands-on cooking classes, guided tours, and a domestic flight between Cartagena and Medellín.
Flights to and from Colombia, travel insurance, visas (if required), and any meals or activities not listed in the itinerary. Personal expenses and gratuities for guides and drivers are also not included.
A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due 45 days before the tour start date. Due to the upfront costs involved in organizing our programs, the initial deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable to a future date, subject to availability and pricing.
We accept payment by credit card or bank transfer. A 0% interest payment plan is available and can be selected during the booking process. Guests who opt in may choose to split the remaining balance into multiple installments. Once the deposit has been received, the payment schedule is set up accordingly.

Colombia has a tropical climate with regional variations. Our Colombia food tour runs in March and early December, both excellent times to visit Cartagena and Medellín.
March falls within the drier season in much of the country, bringing warm coastal weather in Cartagena and pleasant temperatures in Medellín. Early December offers comfortable conditions before the peak holiday travel period, with festive energy beginning to build in the cities.
Because Colombia sits near the equator, temperatures remain fairly consistent year-round, but these months offer a favorable balance of weather and activity for this itinerary.
In Cartagena, expect warm, tropical weather year-round, so lightweight, breathable clothing is ideal. Medellín, known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” has more temperate weather, with cooler mornings and evenings. We recommend packing light, comfortable layers and bringing sun protection, especially for the hotter coastal regions. A light jacket or sweater may be useful for Medellín’s cooler nights.

For Medellín, you’ll fly out of José María Córdova International Airport (MDE). It’s located about 45 minutes outside the city of Medellín and serves as the main international airport for the region.
